CARP FISHING - A CARPY CONNECTION - APPROACHING A NEW WATER
Welcome back to the vlog. You join me on my first session on a new water, JB Pool on the Mercia Angling Club Ticket. This is a truly stunning venue and i can’t wait to see it in the summer when all of the trees are in full bloom and the lilly pads have all grown up. In this Vlog i go through how i approach a new water. I give out some tips on how to approach your first session on a new lake. The conditions are still quite challenging as the floods have taken hold again. With only a few swims to choose from, i settle in and go about trying to catch some of the many stunning carp that reside in this lake. I stick with the same rigs and bait i have been having great success on all this year and manage to bag myself two stunning 20lb fish.

Great video and thanks for the tips. Just one question. When you approach new water, once you find a spot, do you prebait? Especially if the water hasn't seen any Baitworks boilies before.

Hi Mate, How you doin? It is a stunning venue. can't wait to see it in the summer months when all of the lily beds have grown. Will make for some excellent footage. Im struggling to find a decent supplier at the moment for clothing etc. The last place i used was called customise it now. They made a brilliant job of the hats but the hoodies were not so good. They are now doing me some more with the correct print i wanted so hopefully they will come back ok. Be lucky mate 😃👌🎣

Hi Mate. Thanks for commenting. I use ESP Syncro xt loaded in 18lb. Very strong line but low diameter and very supple. Highly recommend it. The brolly i have had for a couple of years. Its the Wychwood MHR HD. Excellent brolly. I also have the wrap for it. Sadly it will be going soon along with the tempest as i have my eye on a new pioneer 😃👌🎣
