Carp Fishing - A Carpy Connection - Welcome to part 2 of the Redhouse Diary. In this episode i continue my campaign to try to catch a Carp from this very tricky low stock pit. The weather conditions are prime but the fishing is hard due to a big Algie bloom covering the whole lake.
In this episode I talk about the photography equipment that i am using to create these vlogs with.
I am putting a lot of time and effort into theses vlogs and understand that they might not be for everyone but i am still new to blogging so give them a chance and hopefully they will improve in both content and quality. Excellent vlog Mark, love the way you capture the atmosphere and serenity of the location.... could almost be there with you. Proud to see how far your fishing has come. I can remember when you was about 10 yo and all the other kids were out playing football....... not you.... you would spend days at a time on the river bank.... on your own, just you and your soggy cheese sandwiches. As you say Mark, fishing is not all about catching fish. Your vlogs highlight all of the other wonderful experiences we have whilst on the bank...although I’m not so sure about the “glad about not seeing anyone else” comment! 😜

Cheers Paul. I really appreciate your positive comment. I reposted this video due to the sound quality on the last one was all over the place. I must have disturbed some settings somewhere during editing. I was reluctant to delete the previous version as I had over 600 views but I wanted it to be right. I am very much into photography so all the gear I have gets used alot but I have only just started using the video functions of it all. Hopefully once I get used to it the videos will be 100%. I am glad you enjoyed it. 👍🎣🎣

Redhouse been ottered and when it floods they get in river, also the 2 clubs don’t get on so it’s neglected by both

Hi mate. Many thanks for your message and kind comments. That vlog you watched is one of my old ones. My newer ones are much better. 😁I use Nikon cameras because that is what I have always used. D850 has to be the best DSLR money can buy. Although not the best camera for auto focus, used in manual focus I think the image quality is as good as it gets. Good luck mate 🎣😁👍

Mark Hunter Carp Fishing yea mate your filming is perfection and the drone footage mate best I’ve seen. It’s all about reality and trouble is these days all these big company’s show you rods in pulling 30 lbs out after two hours total rubbish what they don’t show you the lake is closed off weeks before filming and pre baited daily all fake to sell there products. 👍

Hi mark,Love your filming and footage pal it really is nice to watch someone who as a genuine passion for carp fishing and filming photography etc! It really is appreciated especially the drone camera work truly amazing stuff👏 I’ve just got myself a standard ticket for pride having never ever fished it before! Could I ask you what kind of fish stock is in grimshaws and red house in your opinion I’m talking numbers of carp and weights etc? Thank you Danboy👊

Hi Daniel. Thank you very much for your comment and kind words. Hopefully I will be able to get back out soon and do some more films. TBH mate I'm not to familiar with grimshaws. I think there is a good head of fish in there but mainly upper doubles and low 20's. As for Redhouse, we'll it's anybodies guess really. I wouldn't say there was anymore than 100 fish in there going on what I have been told since I did the Redhouse vlogs. I would surprised if there was half that in there. I know the big common came out the other week at just under 45. There are a few 30's in there from what I have seen and been told. Your best bet is to take it as it is. An unknown. No one will tell you much about the place, believe me I have spoken to a few people on there. It's a lovely lake and I know the rewards are there. Good luck mate and I might see you down there sometime. 😊👍🎣
