Shaun what do you carry in your rucksack when doing these short sessions . Need to look at this ,already got Nash dwarfs ,but still think I’m carrying far too much tackle for 5-6 hr stints. Cheers
@TheFishingBloggers2 ай бұрын
I just carry what I need. Small amount of tackle, brew kit, water, milk, bait, camera, batteries and lenses, drone etc…I take more than the average person needs as o have load of filming equipment! Anyone can fish from a 30l rucksack for a day session, if you can’t you either don’t have the right kit/setup or you take too much! Most of the gear in the fishing market is not designed for purpose, it’s designed for marketing and aesthetics…
@geoff16532 ай бұрын
@@TheFishingBloggers cheers Shaun , now NEED to down size the amount of kit I take . Great vids mate keep em coming .
@TheFishingBloggers2 ай бұрын
@@geoff1653 no worries, most anglers take so much kit that’s not needed. I take a small eva pouch with my rig bits in, and a Korda tackle safe which I’ve customised. The main thing is to focus on your most confident tactic, so I tend to use ronnies with small mesh bags of pellet and a handful of freebies over the top. So this means I don’t need loads of other terminal gear and bait, just fish for a bite at a time. When I’m night fishing I take more options with me as I have a power barrow and it doesn’t weigh me down the same.

I get Bream on 22mm boilies so they eat all baits you Put in
@TheFishingBloggers2 ай бұрын
I think the smaller bream struggle with bigger baits, it’s the width that’s needed as they have a narrow mouth. Most of the time I think they are sucking up the hook and just get pricked eventually
