Good little video only thing I would say is get yourself some distance sticks you can pick them up cheap enough and saves having to stay in the lead clip also specimen doesn't always mean big it probably just means there's only carp in there as I've fished a venue with a match lake and a specimen lake because it's only carp in there but they don't go over 20lb

I’ve got four sets of wrap sticks! Had a set in the van, just didn’t need them for what I was doing. Leaving it in the clip in this situation is much quicker than having to wrap up every time.

Great video mate. how have you attached that dumbell bottom bait to the hook. It looks like you have maybe used a hair link of some sort. Is it also attached to the pva bag?

When I use a bottom bait I use a micro ring & tie a hair to the ring. If I use a pop up then I use the mini ring swivel as most do. I like separation on a bottom bait, so the hair works really well. I use bottom baits more and more as every always tries to lighten or balance their hook baits. I then nick the hair stop in the pva mesh to prevent the hookbait getting tangled in flight.

I bailiff there mate ,and fish it quite a bit .they're is fair few in there mate from mid to high teens and a handful of 20,s ,it goes like that ,I've fished 2 weeks on the bounce and had half a dozen from 14 to 19lb each time then next 2 goes its been like your session .the bigger ones just haven't moved in yet

They normally sit right in the rabbit holes along the far bushes ,,,trees .you can go right to bushes as the water will be right up so you can get on that upper shelf
