Hi Simon hindsight is a wonderful thing but for me a solid bag approach first, along with a zig,& a ronnie..The lakes were difficult the weather wasn't the best but fishing can be like that..Still now with Autumn coming the carp fingers crossed, will be looking for a munch and will be looking there best..Till your next vlog stay safe mate........LC

Looked a real nice lake u certainly got a rough time of it weatherwise throughout your road trip the fishing can throw u a real curve ball at times u caught loads of barbel which could have been the toughest test of the trip and the carp have proved the more elusive species u probably werent expecting that outcome mate but a great watch as always and good technical info etc cheers simon and tight lines

Good series. I fish Horcott regularly and 'The Beach' where you were, especially Matt's area in the weed to the right, is always good for a bite. Very surprised at the bailiffs advice though, the fish are very nomadic so once you've found them the tactic has always been to put plenty of bait in to keep them in your area.

Cheers mate good info. Tbh the fish just weren't on the feed. Plenty of people were putting in the bait and not catching and Matts fish came to very light baiting tactics as did the one that cut me off. There were plenty showing near us but they just weren't on the bait. I'll definitely be back one day its a lovely lake 👌

No, I fish horcott every weekend and have had the most fish out this season, only small amount of bait and chase the fish around, nobody tends to fish affectively anymore :( p.s. horcott is barbless only.

Tbh I think Bradley would have been impossible whatever we did. Horcott I would have just fished solid bags I think. The fish definitely weren't on the feed and they didn't respond to any bait tbh
