Hi mate maggots are generally better in winter because the smaller fish such as Roach are less active and won't ruin your presentation. If you have a water where few small fish are present then maggots are great all year 👍

Hi mate cheers. I use a trakker rlx nano chair which is useful as it can be used on your bed chair as you say. Not the most comfortable chair but does the job on short sessions 👍

Some good thoughts on rigs, lovely looking lake, one thing though, when using pva nuggets, how many times have you reeled in with dissolved pva gunk still on the hook point due to pushing the hook point into the pva nugget? I haven't had the confidence to push the hook into the nugget, rather just sandwich two together side by side?

Cheers mate. I've not had that problem to be honest 🤔 Make sure you keep your nuggets really dry as any moisture will harden them and make them less effective 👍
