Korda carp fishing Darrell Peck shows us his Spinner Rig / Ronnie Rig used to catch some big carp (up to 40lb+) on his latest film: Pecky’s Big Carp Buzz - German River.
Darrell explains that during that river carp fishing session he was fishing against snags in shallow water over gravel/mud. Having to ‘drill’ the spinner rig into place with an aggressive cast he needed to ensure the spinner rig did exactly what he needed.

Always used the hybrid stiff and crimps usually with the stiff hinge rig as the material is really stiff and kicks out fanatically never get any tangles with it 👍

@@darrellpeck4938 my bad I meant when attaching to main line, you use a ring so the boom is always on the main line but I use a quick change swivel on the boom instead is there any difference. Hope you and yours are keeping safe at this strange time.

Hi 👋 Not all videos can be to everyone’s individual taste unfortunately. Most of the previous films you will have watched of myself and the rest of the team show case us demonstrating a technical approach’s on non pre baited venues... However in this series we are simply trying to steer around technical demonstrations and focus on the fun and buzz in my fishing. (The rig video was added after for those who really wanted to see it.) You’ll be pleased to know this was the only venue that was baited before my arrival during the filming of this series. With regard to positive Criticism and of course you are entitled to your opinion. But you are very much in the minority here though. Nearly 100,000 people have watched it and only 50 dislikes!? On the whole the film was supposed to be entertaining and motivating which we feel it is.

hi, i' m from Belgium and always wondered myself about the amount of parrot mouthed fish you guys have in UK. Untill last year, when i managed to farm carp from egg to little carp of 4 inches. Amazing how many of them had a parrot mouth... So i do think genetics are the most obvious explanation. And for a fish farmer fish is money, so i do not think they let them out
