Great fish, awesome video! Question, how do you get the PVA stick onto the hook link after you tie it? Thank you

I use a stinger needle. It is similar to a baiting needle, but longer and with gated hook. It allows you to put the needle though the center of the pva stick, to then pull the hook link though the stick, so that things are left presented well and also more streamlined when casting. I have a video on how i personally do this that may help you.

Yeah, there are a number of big 45 to 50 lb resident snappers tucked away under some of the car sized boulders here. I think you are right, probably just hatched. 👊🏻 thanks for checking out the new content.

Whats up buddy im just getting into carp fishing would you recommend the banksticks over a tripod

Hi Brian! Thank you for checking out my channel. It is hard to recommend things like bank sticks vs a pod as there are a number of factors that come in to play with both. I love using bank sticks in my angling. They offer easy of use and set up. very simple to keep ready to go and can be used in a number of configurations..... However down sides and drawbacks to them are that in some locations you can't always get bank sticks in the ground to a good depth that will keep them upright, or stable enough for when a fish takes off violently. so in situations like the above a pod is a good way to go. many simple options from a simple try-pod with a buzz bar can work really well or a full on pod set up. I prefer to keep things a minimal as possible in my angling so I go for the solid bank stick option any time I can. I would check out www.bigcarptackle.com under the (rod support) tab and have a look though the many options available to you. BCT offers every thing from single bank sticks, buzz bars, pods and every thing in-between that you would need. I hope this helps you in getting out there after some carp! Also if your new to carp angling make sure you check out the americancarpsociety.com I will have some more "How-to" videos uploaded soon so I hope they may help you with your introduction to carp angling. #bigcarptackle #americancarpsociety #carpanglingusa
