When it comes to building a DIY camper van or skoolie, the skoolie is a much more budget-friendly option!

Your bus build is truly adorable. It's like a drivable tiny house. I've seen tons of builds, I currently have a 2002 ford econoline and your bus makes it so tempting to upgrade lol. Very well thought out and cozy. I love the fireplace too. That's what I'd like. You two did an awesome job on your home 1😍

Hey guys! Holy cow your bus is gorgeous. We are 100% using it as inspiration for our bus build, because WOW! We especially love your wood stove set-up. I am actually trying to figure out how to tile around our wood stove, and am having such a hard time finding a heat-resistant grout... there are a bunch of high-temp mortars at different stores but not a single grout that can withstand temps higher than 120C.... Can I ask what product you used for your tiles?

Bless you! What genuises! But, may I ask...why don't you built a lightweight ladder, to the roof? Position it on an upper hook & climb up? Then take the ladder & place it betw some bed or sofa, or down flat under a piece of furniture?

@TinyHomeTours Жыл бұрын
Looks like there are a few insulated chimney adapters that go from 4" to 6" available at Home Depot or on Amazon. Additionally you can check out www.cubicminiwoodstoves.com to shop their flue system kits. Hope that helps a bit! :)

What I would do to afford to be able to hire you to do my bus like yours...mine only is a 4 window (on each side bus) only I use it for a mobile herbal clinic for the homeless so I need a counter where the bathroom or fridge is..but need a bed for when I travel to other cities for the clinics!

At 11 min mark total of 9 ads. Way too many ads. Music choice was nice, but too loud. Please turn it down. If I turn volume down, I cannot hear these soft voices speaking. The contrast is too high. Photography was great as usual, many thanks! Van build is superb! Love the Turquoise van color, so bold and pretty. The wood work inside was outstanding. The fireplace added a beautiful touch, but I feel it takes up space for a shower. I would eliminate that and get a diesel heater from China on Amazon for $200. No condensation, no carbon monoxide, easy to regulate heat, cheap to run, even heating, and NO WOOD to chop, yay! As a bonus, there is less carbon emissions. Duraflame makes a small electric fireplace with both heat and flame simulation. The kitchen cabinets and countertop are so aesthetic, very clean lines and soothing wood tones. Lovely! The gas cooktop looks powerful for BTU and it has a wok burner ring too, which is so nice. What is the brand name of this cooktop? Does it take LPG or natural gas? Love the dining area seating, so cozy and compact. Really nice layout for bedroom and dining with the best views. Also love the rear platform and roof deck. I'd like to know how you constructed both. Please could you make a video to explain those builds. fyi - I would add a locking cover on the gas tank and water tank valves. When you are gone your gas tank could be siphoned out or something added to it,. Ditto for water supply - always lock those to ensure no vandalism. Beautiful home, and you both seem so nice. How lucky that you saw so many national parks. Great job on the bus build, on the tour, and all your adventures. Many more to come I hope.

I can always judge what people are going to have in their bus before they even take us inside by the condition of their hair. The guy always has a man-bun and the woman looks like she hasn't brushed her hair in months. They will ALWAYS have a "natures head" toilet, a Berkey water filter and no shower. Smh. I don't even have to watch the video long enough to see the inside. They're basically all the same.
