Probably my favourite Skoolie conversion in terms of not just aesthetics but also how they managed to fit so many features in (a big freezer and a washing machine are rare finds in skoolies). It’s very impressive how this couple prioritizes their children and the whole bus is so kid-friendly. I love how it seems like every extra space is utilized by adding book shelves.

I love this! The white definitely sets up a more homey feel, especially with the natural wood look. It'll make any future transition to ground living much easier on the kiddos! Perfect! All of it focused on 'homey' and 'practical', not flashy or showy! Cheers to the family!

I'd be afraid something mechanical would go wrong with the bus out in the middle of nowhere and far from a mechanic who knows how to fix them. We had an older class A RV that every time we went even 5 miles from home, something expensive was sure to break. I think the mechanical aspect is the one big elephant in the drawing room that is rarely covered in these RV videos.

These buses area made to run for a long time without breakdown. They are made to carry children back and forth to school 5 days a week if the buses broke down easily it would cost the school system loads of money. Not saying they won't ever breakdown but they are made to run safely and not breakdown with children in them. Getting 500,000 miles out of a school bus is just getting broke in, it will go another 500,000 miles. The trick to keeping these buses from breakdown is maintenence keeping the fluids changed regularly. Also any place that works on diesel motors can work on a school bus. So there is plenty of places that work on these buses at reasonable prices. Most tow companies can tow a big bus but it will cost more money because of the size of the bus it will take a heavy duty tow truck to tow the bus. So your looking at 300 to 500 tow bill that's just for starters. Converting a school bus is much safer and last a lot longer then a RV that cost lots of money. School buses are built to last a long time bus conversion is much better then buying a RV which isn't built to last RV fall apart easily, thats my opinion.

@@18.1Productions I do always wonder... These people HAVE to have a home base. You have to have a physical address for ID, DL, even a PO Box. You can never be TRULY nomadic, Uncle Sam will find a way to make sure you're not. These guys are young enough they can use a parents' address.

should’n a 40 feet long Bus have at least 3 axles? I would not want to drive this thing with only 2 axles. If there is a flat, the Bus is really on the ground and it is hard to change a tire on such a big vehicle. Also it would ride smoother with 6 wheels. Just my observation.
