Her vocals are simply too good for a human being.. & that's every single time she sang a song. It's just unbelievable how much talent she was born with 😊

Smooth as silk..pure as a fresh snow..this is her voice at its hauntingly beautiful best. When it comes to Christmas songs her voice just shines like no one else

Incredible breath control and transitions from Soprano to Contralto at the flick of a switch..only singer who can send shivers down my spine and make the hairs at the back of my neck stand up whilst giving me goosebumps all at the same time..such an extraordinary talented lady who is still very sorely missed over 40 years after her passing.

She was in the midst of her sickness at this point in her short life, but it never interfered with that beautiful voice!

My favoite, largely unknown Christmas hymn. I think I may have recommend it to you guys. It is so anointed that after listening to it for more than 40 years it still paralyzes me. Listen to how long Karen holds her breath on the last line. She takes her last breath after, "Prince of Peace for all the universe" and sings the next phrase without taking a breath for approximately 18 seconds. Simply breathtaking (pardon the pun). Good to see you both living and loving. Christmas blessings to you both.

I believe this was from their Carpenters Christmas Special of 1978. It should be available on DVD or streaming

The female voice for the ages. 5'3 KC was gifted with beautiful, haunting, and controlled singing. She did it while dealing with anorexia. Absolutely amazing.

I love the Carpenters I stated in one of your other Carpenters video that you should react to their version of a song called Little Altar Boy (I Wonder Could You Pray For Me). I 100% think you can relate to the lyrics.

Just woke up this morning from a bad dream that seemed so real. I was very angry in the dream. I almost never remember dreams but this one really bothered me. Then I opened KZbin and saw your reactions to this wonderful version. I got very misty eyed as I listened. Her voice singing those words were music to my ears and heart. Just what I needed. Thanks for reacting!

Amen y'all ! No greater Person . No greater Promise : John 3:16 & Ephesians 2:8-9 . Little children can easily understand and believe in Him for what He actually Certifies , instantly having irrevocable Life at that moment . Cuz He cannot lie to the little ones , unfettered by years of self righteous hardening against Grace .

@ShawnandMel4Life any rough idea as to when y'all will react to "A Soldiers Memoir"? I only asked because I lost another brother to suicide yesterday Vehicular suicide. He intentionally rolled his car (per the onlooker who called 911) with no seat belt on and he was ejected from his car. That song carries even more weight now.

Have you guys ever done a reaction to Living Colour? I recommend their iconic song "Cult of Personality" and if you like that maybe check out "Open Letter to a Landlord" by them as well.
