I'd love Hattie Hayridge to come back as Hollie for Red Dwarf 11. Norman Lovett did an amazing job in Series 1 & 2, but Hattie perfected the character imo.

+IanHoopz Here is what I would do for the new series: I would have Norman lovett as the main Holly on Red Dwarf, but then the boys spend much of the series traveling in a Starbug which they stole from a parallel universe, and find Hilly as the on board computer. So whenever they're on Red Dwarf they have Norman's Holly, while on Starbug they have Hattie as Hilly. I think that would work well. :)

+Oscaroonee neenee It is quite exciting, just the possibility that Hattie could maybe play Holly again, something which hasn't happened in 25 years since Back To Reality. That amazing episode was sadly the last we saw of this beloved character, and the series never quite felt the same again since, it's like part of the family was missing. We spent all of season 6 hoping they would find Holly again, and in a way we never stopped hoping they would find her. For me, when Norman Lovett popped up in Nanarchy, it was good, but it was slightly unwelcome. It's like they were saying to us: "Here you go: this is the REAL Holly back at last, thanks Hattie for standing in while the REAL Holly was taking a break." But for me the REAL Holly was still missing. I would love for Hattie to come back, and/or another female character. I liked Chloe Annett's run in the show. Don't get me wrong, I do like that the show is a "male" show about a bunch of blokes, and I don't want the show to lose its maleness. But I think just having a little female presence gives it more balance. It's like a little salad on a plate full of meat.

Joey X Smith .. holly and hilly are seperate characters. when nanobots remake RD, it is from the original specs before `JMC made all their cutbacks`. Holly carried out a sex change presumably due to his computer senility.

Met the Dwarfers recently at Gloucester Comic Con. Hattie was one of the loveliest most down to earth people you could wish to meet. I came back on the second day to see her again, and I was so taken aback when she remembered my name. She is one of the most mysterious people on the web, there isn't much about her. I like that. Her life is so private, I do hope we will meet again one day. I love you Hattie. Merv xx

I remember having to go to Boots to get film developed. I think photographs were more special then. Now you can take thousands of pictures of anything anywhere that you never look at. Digital photos cheapen photography. I miss albums.

I’ve never met Hattie, but a friend of mine did. He went to get her autograph at Bournemouth Comicon a few years ago. He said something along the lines about how he has missed her since she has not been in the show and she just went off onto a really bitter rant about how they don’t want to use her on the show anymore, which he found somewhat off-putting.
