There is a dramatic difference. The trails and holograms are drastically reduced. Nothing miraculous, just moderate filling.

A spray won’t fix the overall paint finish

That's the basic concept people don't understand. Even a ceramic coating won't do anything if the paint finish isn't good. But I don't like the elixir. If you want your car to have a candy gloss, this isn't the product.

@@SmarthPhonesCz The most important concept to understand is when you touch your car for cleaning, use a good quality microfiber cloth and the friction should be as little as possible. For that you need a soap/shampoo with good lubrication (all the good shampoos have good lubrication). It's the friction between the microfiber and the car paint that leads to swirl marks and if the dirty then the minute particles that get stuck in the microfiber cloth while wiping the car will cause bigger swirl marks or even scratches. So always rinse the car before going for the contact cleaning of the car. I love CarPro Reset shampoo. I like Meguiars wax and shine (yellow coloured shampoo) and after shampooing I like to use a quick detailer like Gyeon ceramic detailer during the drying process. There are lots of very good shampoos and quick detailers out there.

@@nasdoc1 For a reason. It's not meant for that. EliXir IS an outstanding product, one of the best in fact. It's not made to POP YOUR ROCKS. It's meant to be a quick detailer for CERAMIC coated cars.

You can't except from any spray to fix you car paint finish. That have to be cut & polished to remove it, otherwise it won't help.

Theres a big diffrent between compound and spray. If you want to maintain good quality and glossy look. Detailed it first by 3 stage or 2 stage step. After that you can maintain every day, week or month via doing pray thing. Doing spray-thing with that kind of car wont make any different.
