Yes Carrie took this straight from the Christine movie - and as was said down below - she got special permission from Stephen King to use those special effects. Drinking Alone is a fun bluesy type song by Carrie - I think you'd like it.

As a few others have already mentioned, the video is based on Stephen King's novel/movie Christine, in which a car comes alive and kills ;people. So a "murderous" car. Carrie obtained Stephen King's permission to use the likeness and plot of Christihne in the video.

When it comes to Country singers like Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert and The Dixie Chicks it's a running joke that men shouldn't mess with country girls.😂 The video is based off the Steven King novel/movie Christine. It's about a homicidal car that can repair itself. Carrie got Stephen King's permission to use it. Nice spot BP1. It's not only the place the song differs slightly than the video. "It's the first and the last time they met each other face to face." In the video when Carrie pancakes him the wife got out of the car as well. You can see her shadow. I'm not usually a country pop fan but Carrie's voice does it for me. I agree BP2 I could see that easily covered by Fleetwood Mac with the guitar. Carrie and Stevie Nicks in a duet would be banging! I highly recommend her songs Church Bells and Just A Dream. Fair warning the later recommendation is very emotional. How Great Thou Art though is the one where you'll probably hear her best vocals. It's a duet with Vince Gill. Glad you enjoyed it guys.😊

In addition to the already recommended “How Great Thou Art,” I’d recommend “Before He Cheats,” a huge crossover hit that really skyrocketed her career in 2005. Fun video too. Other suggestions: “Blown Away,” “Something in the Water,” “Remind Me” (duet with Brad Paisley)… lots of stellar songs over the past 18 years.

The video is inspired by Christine (1983), a movie based on a book by Stephen King about a killer Cadillac. There are several scenes in the movie where the car... fixes itself. Great cheesy movie if you're up for something like that.

Personally, I can't see how you can compare Stevie Nicks and Carrie Underwood as being somewhat similar. I like Stevie and Fleetwood Mac but in no way are their voices anywhere near each other. Carrie can sing rings around Stevie. Stevie has some great songs but she does not have anywhere near the range that Carrie does.
