This song is sooo very precious to me!! You see in March of 2006 my father was diagnosed with bone cancer!! He lived In Amarillo Texas & I lived in St. Charles Missouri!! I would drive to my dads house spend two weeks taking care of him & then I’d drive back to Missouri.. for one week to take care of my kids!! And mind you my middle daughter was born severely mentally and physically handicapped! Then I’d rinse & repeat!! And the very last time that I drove to my dads I brought my baby girl.. who was only 10 years old at the time-with me!! Jesus take the wheel had just came out & I had just bought it!!! My daughter & I listened to the song the whole entire time I was driving to my dads house!!! You see I had been struggling/suffering... for a many of years from severe Anorexia Nervosa!! The second morning of my daughter & I being at my dads house... I just never woke up!! I had suffered severe heart failure (wet berry-berry syndrome- not spelled correctly)!!! I coded 5 times in one day & the last time I flatlined for 33 minutes!! I had to have 14 pints of blood transfusion & 3 surgeries in 4 days.... in-which I couldn’t be sown back up for days!! Due to the very fact that I was so swollen from my kidneys & liver shutting down!! I was in a coma for 6 weeks & my heart refractions never got above 9%!!! I also became.. insulin diabetic & had to have a feeding tube for six months!! I had to have lots of therapy as I had to pretty much relearn how to walk, talk, feed myself, ect!! I was released from the hospital & arrived back home June 1st, 2006!! And my dad died the very next day.. June the 2nd!! I will always praise & thank you 🙏 sweet Jesus for saving my life!!
