I love the way her face glows when she talks about Jesus! Her love for Jesus just pours out of her and that is what I love most about Carrie! My outlook on this song is that sometimes we may lose touch with Jesus, but he is always there and a part of our lives and we will always see him again! That's just how I feel personally when I listen to this song.

Dear Carrie, I will be writing to you properly when I can find where to send fan mail, but my mother died 13 days ago unexpectedly and I have been planning her funeral with my father and sister and my dad wanted us to each have a song played. This song will be my song played after I give the eulogy. I knew the moment my dad said "pick a song" that "See You Again" would be my tribute as this is not only a goodbye but a celebration of an amazing lady's life and she loved you as much as I do and adored this song. Songs mean different things to different people. See you again always reminds me of having to see my boyfriend off before he deployed. This song pretty much always makes me cry because it captures the pain of having to say see you later but at the same times gives so much hope of deployments not lasting forever and that eventually I'll be safe in his arms again. Carrie you touch the hearts of so many and I can tell you that I'm not the only "milso" that appreciates this song in a very deep way

And actually, I use this song as kind of an inspiration for a short story I'm writing about how the girl has to leave to face her destiny in this battle, and the boy that fell in love with her can't come with her to protect her because of the danger of him getting either hurt or killed.
