my mom passed away in 2009...and to this day it still hurts she battled so many things in her life barely able to feed her 6 kids mental abuse lung issues along with other medical problems she had abd finally Glioblastoma (brain tumor) which killed her I can still hear her incredible laugh in my head see her smile hear her say "I love you" I miss you mom.... time has passed but it's still hard to have the ONE PERSON I had as a support system not here anymore. My mother passed away a month later. My parents lived in Knoxville TN. They had 3 girls. We all lived in different states. On the 27th when we all got the call I cannot explain to anyone the feelings we had. I was numb. We all immediately left to get to Knoxville. My heart goes out to you. I lost my mom when I was 10 (7/27/13) and this song played on the radio while I was in the car coming back from where she had gotten in a car accident, it had just come out not too long before that. I decided to sing this song at her funeral and wasn’t able to listen to it for a long time without crying.
