Proof of her gift, I think, is the fact that she was included with the much older female vocalists who took part in the induction of Linda Ronstadt into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Randy explained how he pulled it off. He walked into the Opry earlier on the day. He wanted to make sure nobody knew his was in the building. Few veterans saw him, but knew to keep it quiet. That was about an half-hour before he did it to Carrie. Everybody knew what was going on. Carrie didn't know her parents and rest of her family were there, if Carrie saw them, she knew something was going on. Even they agreed to stay out of sight.

I saw the full video of Randy saying he had to sneak into Opry that night, because he didn't want Carrie to know he was there.
