Yeah I see the pride in Randy's face. That smile rather hewas so in awe. And Carrie is amazing. I dont think Carrie knows just how good she I really is. Which ses her even more beautiful. You see stars out there and they think they are Gods gift and they are not half as good. They act like like pure arseholes with their egos. This girl goes up on stage, shy and unsure of herself. And then goes and lights up the stage and everyones life with that those wonderful pipes of hers to the point she can bring us to tears. And lights up not just the stage but everyones life listening to her. And she still doesn't realise just how good she is. That's what makes us love Carrie I think. Randy certainly gets it. Both are amazing. God bless them. Good to see you back after your illness Randy. So glad you made it. Susan xxxx❤❤❤

I'm from Randy's hometown of Marshville NC. My mom and her sister use to babysit Randy and his brothers and sisters many years ago......lol I grew up just down the road from them. Their actual last name is Traywick. Randy's brother Ricky can sing just as good as he can. You can see him singing here on KZbin. He use to come to my church and sing some.

Mike C. His brother Ricky doesn’t sing as good as him. Randy Travis is king of country music! He’s the best there ever was and ever will be! I hope he recovers fast because my dream is to meet him. Either way I still want to meet him! He’s amazing

The main reason, Randy is smiling like that. Randy is acting like a proud papa. When Carrie decided to sing this song, she got permission from Randy. She sent Randy a tape of her doing this song. And as Randy keeps saying that. Carrie's high vocals fit this song better than his low vocals

Her perfect, extended BELTS ending in perfect, prolonged vibrato kind of send me off.....I'm not her biggest fan - but it's clear why Carrie is a superstar. Even after so much success and rewards - she is still kind of underrated in country music? Because they don't like to go crazy over a "voice" alone and Carrie straddles the line between big hair twang and torn dress rock n roll. That said - Randy Travis' resonant, scratchy, tenor brought the emotion of this duet back down to earth. Carrie's upper harmonies are so pretty. I grew up on American Idol, but not country music. This turned me right out

Neither Randy or Carrie knew that when Carrie record this song and put it on her album and release as a single. It was going to turn into a blockbuster hit and return it to no. 1 hit. Carrie simply enjoy the song and that Randy wrote it was bonus. And she was just happy gave permission to do it. Rest of it was just a nice surprise.
