Carroll's latest prank: T.O. flips the script and punks his new teammates

Like they do for every new guy, the Seahawks thought they were pranking new teammate Terrell Owens during his first team meeting on Aug. 8. Instead, Coach Pete Carroll and T.O. flipped the script and punk'd the players and coaches in memorable fashion.

Great stuff. We Seahawks fans are very lucky to Coach Carroll here. And I tell you what, I've been following this teams development very close. I have no doubt at all that they will be every bit to the NFL, what the Trojans were to the NCAA. Big, fast, strong, talented guys at every position just creating mayhem on the field.

In there 20's? Michael Vick was 31 and Plaxico was 34. T.O. ran a 4.4 when Pete Carroll worked him out. Knee surgery, 38, do you know who Terrell Owens is? He's a freak of nature. He dropped balls in his first preseason game, he had to get re-acclimated to the speed of the NFL. Did you see the catch he made in his last game once he finally got some reps in? Dropped balls doesn't mean you lost it, GETTING OPEN IS. Jerry Rice can still catch the ball right now, can he still play? I'm done

Its funny for the team. Pete does this thing where is calls the new guys up front like he did in the beginning and tells them so share their story, telling them its a safe place and its ok to share, and as soon as they start he yells "Sit back down!!". Everyone on the team is used to it and knows the routine. So when Pete and TO did their own thing nobody really knew what was going on and as things progressed people started to get uneasy, which was the point, and in the end it was a joke

As for the link, if you don't know how to put the appropriate dots and "w w w" in the right places, I can't help you. As far as the rest, this can't be a serious question. T.O. didn't play in the NFL last season, so if you want to go with what he did prior and compare it to their last season numbers, he destroyed every single one of them, in 14 games. You can even combine almost any 2 of them with T.O. and it still won't match up. It's a damn shame I even had to say that.

TO is a legend and they just want to keep the ball out of his hands because he is bigger than the game and any team he could play for already, just give dude a broadcast job already Jesus Christ, he needs a little practice but dude has personality charisma spunk and knows the games, he is a mic hog and a narcistic idiot who doesn't live in reality because that's what it takes to be the best competitor, but with the right mentors like Deion and cris carter on his right and left, TO is what we are all waiting for In the broadcast booth and what he needs is for his mentors to step up and request to work with him and also to make him see that his work isn't wanted or appreciated unless it is a selfless attempt to show his knowledge of the game by working to raise the people around him rather than his own personal stock, he needs to understand how much his game is appreciated off the field when he is a team player and doesn't have to get the last word in rather taking a calm relaxed approach and not one upping everyone and showing how thankful he is...after a few years of that I think we can all appreciate his attitude and give him a little free time and segment where he can be himself but right now all everyone has on their mind is for him to fail and he needs to understand that transition and how to do it right and it's crazy dudes agent isn't all over this getting him started on KZbin....if he did that he prolly would have been brought back to some of these teams with late season injuries because Terrell can ball on megatron levels for 6 games no problem

Let's see, Plaxico Burress took 2 years off and didn't even have the luxury of really working out the way a football player should because he was in prison: 600 yards, 8 TDs. Michael Vick same deal, took a year to play back up behind McNabb while he gets in football shape from the QB position at that: You seen the year he had. A lot of ex-NFL players have stated taking a year off actually helps you and your body -- some wish they've done it. It does effect performance, it makes them better.

Lol! This was funny. This is the reason why where ever T.O played, even though he left most organizations on a bad note, his ex-teammates still loved him. But for real, Golden, give T.O his 81. You don't have any ties to that number, you wore #23 in college. Terrell set records in 81, you just occupy a roster spot.

You realize though that Pete is a defensive minded coach, the Seahawks Defense is his brainchild, the scheme and personnel are are his doing, he built the defense through free agency and mostly the draft and has produced a top 10 defense that is full of young players who are only getting better and are expected to make the leap in to the top 5 this year. Where are these creditable reports? Send me a link or tell me where I can find them. Everything i've heard was he was fine in camp but he dropped too many balls in the pre season. Easy catches he was dropping. Anyhow... Don't confuse me saying "Tate is better then TO" to meaning Tate is more talented or gifted or any of that. Tate is a better WR at this point and better for the team. And so is Baldwin and Rice and Obamanu and Whitehurst.

Actually T.O. hasn't had any foootball issues since Dallas. And in Dallas he was dead on correct. Romo is locked on Witten. And Witten is too slow and the focus should be on wide outs. OK, next logical question. Has TO proved that he is the same guy he was 2 years ago? I'll answer that one as well.... no he hasn't. So at this point Tate is a better receiver then TO... hands down.
