Glad Treasure, liquid germall plus is a good preservative. It is a broad spectrum preservative and covers a wide range of pH. Here i n Switzerland, it is not allowed to be added to products made for children. That is why I rarely use it.

Thank you. If your products must have a pH of between 5 and 5.5, then you can raise it if it is lower, and if it is higher you lower it.

If the pH is lower than 5 or 5.5 u need to raise it with using either baking soda or lye solution and if it's too high u need to lower it with citric acid to get it to the correct pH, dealing with pH can be tedious but it is very important in making skincare products

@@mc4555 dear, once your product gets a foul smell, you have to discard it. Sorry for the late reply, I did not realise you wrote. I reckon the problem must have come from the fresh aloe vera gel. If you Iive in a hot area, you should store those recipes without any added preservative in the fridge to avoid the growth of bacteria in them. Make sure to sterilise all your equipments and your woking space, before you start working on your formulation.

No it will not. It is MCT oil from coconut, called Fractionated coconut oil, and this will not clog pores. It is not the same a normal cold pressed coconut oil.

If you wish to store the product for up to a year, you need to use carrot juice extract or you prepare it as shown in the video. If you use fresh carrot juice, your product will only last for about six weeks, even with preservative in it. Extracts are more stable in cosmetics formulations than fresh juice.

I can sent you the links where you can get the ingredients. But for a DIY, try using mild products with a pH of around 5 on your face. You can use chamomile face toner as well.

It is safer to use dry fruit flesh than fresh. If you use the fresh juice, even with a preservative, safety is not guaranteed, For this reason, cosmetics are made with extracts and not with fresh plant juice or fruits. You can also do the extraction with alcohol. But many people don't like alcohol because it dries out the skin.
