19:04 on the turn we are drawing dead sometimes and even our straight outs like 3 and a 8 are not clean because he has 84s and 43s in range, I guess it depends if he is agro and overbluffing or not but against an unknown I'm folding turn

Some of the calls by the villains jn this video really are proof that we should all be going much thinner and lwrger for value on the river than we think.

A5s reminded me.. Uri had a great video talking about how in solver/theory land that solvers often have a few bluffs with SDV for the function of making nut no pair hands (AK here) somewhere between indifferent and bad calls. Practically speaking, id assume if we never bluff the 54 or A5 here his hand choice for calling really isn’t that bad, but against 3x pot maybe make the hero call with the Kx+pair hands haha

Can you ever play a check call line on the final hand with ak? By multi barreling, we filter our opponent away from pocket pairs, and more to a polarized range of draws and jx. By bluffing our hand, we get the auto folds and maybe some pocket pairs to fold, but check call allows you to win more against the bottom of opponents range which i think is overrepresented.
@teeraw45759 күн бұрын
the A5diamonds hand is wild lol. should prolly have a straight blocker when you 3x pot there as youre repping quite thin. on the k9 hand with king of spades i think jam is the best line considering ppls check call line is quite unprotected they very rarely have a flush there and jam should fold out all 1pair / 2pair hands where as ppl like to station top pair vs pot or slight overbet way more often

First hand 54s at 2:25 . So what range do u give this villain on the river? He called third pot on the flop and he called an overbet on the turn. And what range are you giving him preflop? You mentioned he is recreational. Does it mean he is not 3beting enough preflop? Does this mean he is calling with something like 44-TT, JTo+, QTo+, KTo+, A2-A5s, A9s+, KTs+, QTs, J9s, 56s+?If yes, can we assume villain is folding AQo, ATo, QTo, 44-66, and anything suited in spades without a pair? If yes, then it means he had 234 combos preflop, after calling your cbet on the flop he had 159 combos. On the TURN, can we assume villain is folding a lot of his range to our 75% pot sized bet? All non-clubs suited hands without a pair, TT, 99, 88, AJo, QJo, non-clubs QJs, non-clubs JTs, non-clubs AJs? With what exactly is he calling? With the top of his range + club ace-high draws? Does it mean his range on the river is something like: KQo, AQs, KQs, KJs, KTs (12 + 16 = 28 combos) and missed FDs (7 combos)? If that's the case, do we really have enough folds for our overbet on the RIVER? Our bluff has to work at least 37.8% of the time to break even. He should fold KQo and those 7 missed FDs, which accounts for 19 combos out of 35. Is this the reason we are overbet bluffing here?

76s, 78s, AQ, A4s, it's like 23 combos of bluffs but a lot more value, I think he has an easy fold because he is losing to our pocket pair bluffs like 44 or 66

MAX value with the A5. That’s why he’s the coach!
@Ewan-chess17 күн бұрын
I don’t love the T9s. I think villain only has to call natural hands like Ax diamond and slow plays which he will arrive with a lot here. I imagine most pocket pairs will bet the turn so you’re only really folding Kx and Qx diamond which isn’t that many combos. It depends on If he is checking back pocket pairs lots on the turn (which I wouldn’t) then maybe its good to fold QQ-88
@jaxejaxejaxe18 күн бұрын
A5dd hand. Wont all our value combos on river bet the turn for x% of pot? In theory they would OFTEN, and in practice even MORE OFTEN. So our logic against him/pool turns on ourselves. Nice vid

@@dariomladenovski7047 I never fold overpairs in 4-bet pots when I'm the aggressor so in villain's shoes I just snap call without any thought. I only play 100 BBs deep though, that strategy would lose at deeper stacks.
@brendancaldwell181516 күн бұрын
I like the A5 bluff vs weak players as you likely get a range fold as played. However, vs a good thinking player they have to be wondering why you would be jamming there for value. Most of your value would be looking to exploit a weaker range as played and thus more likely betting smaller than 3x pot. So if good thinking players are over defending this line where would you draw the line at jamming for value? With the front door clubs missing and him unblocking clubs he likely thinks you're over bluffing this node and that he beats almost all of your Ax clubs. He also has the Kd so he blocks AKd which he would chop with and beats some of the Ax diamonds that also may overbluff here, especially if he knows you're an exploitive player.
