It sure is. And it’s like a pair of shoes that never break in. It fights me at every turn, but I love its tone and response. I bought it in new 1993 and it immediately needed work. Famous (now retired) L.A. luthierJohn Carruthers reset the neck, did a fret job, and sanded down the saddle, and that was on a new guitar! Ha! Ha! Great job man! I really mean it... So many people go through every single note like everyone they're talking to is a beginner. A lot of us can pick this stuff up right away and just need to see it played all the way through! I mean, I had no idea HOW to play this song but after seeing the tuning ad seeing you play it, It took me all of a couple of minutes to play the whole song... I mean, people doing these types of videos should blow through it like you did for guitarists who have been playing for years and then come back and do the step by step notes and frets and all that for the early learners... It's just common sense! I can't tell you how many videos I've tuned to just to hear the guy talk like it's my first lesson... I just click right off and look for guys like you that just play it quickly and say there you go... Anyway, just venting about others on KZbin... Great Video! I learned a new song! A great song! Thanks!!!

"his wackiness up there" funny! Great lesson dude. Thanks. About 30 years ago I went to my friends house and he was playing that song and it sounded amazing. He explained to me the tuning but I forgot it 2 seconds later and got busy for 3 decades.

It was a 1993 Guild D-55. I just traded her in for a Taylor 417e-R, as the Guild was just too big and heavy, and I needed to make a change before (more) problems arose. 🙂
