The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf

There are 2 types of ret: The ones that desecrates vigi's body by making them dishonor the town 4 times. The ones that destroys evils so hard they actually get traumatized by rets and start killing any TS claims. There is no inbetween.

I think retributionist was actually one of the only town roles that got buffed when transitioning from TOS 1 to TOS 2. Its also one of the more fun roles to play now which i really like cause it was a cool role in the original game just kinda underpowered.

Who remembers the old retributionist who brings someone back to life from graveyard? (from tos1 2019ish) Players were basically having a second chance to live thanks to that ability. I think it was a cool one except some op stuff happening because of it. What do you think?

Game 1 had some true Random All Any moments. Made Pipe even call the 1st dead BG stupid (for literally selfing N1 and arguing with whole town about it). But the worst part: in the Endgame, 12 had it won. He only needed to kill Pipe, then move with town to mislynch 7 (as they were already agro on him), then kill the Mayor for the Win. Why the hell did he attack the mayor when they were debating whether Pipe is Necro or not (Also why 7 thought Pipe was Necro killing his own CL, but I digress)

I wish retributionist had a few more unique interactions. Like being able to use day time abilities once like mayor and a message appears at the start of the day saying "The mayor has endorsed ____ from the grave" giving 3 votes. Or vigilante refusing to shoot if you kill a townie with him saying "the vigilante wishes to rest, he has harmed the town enough".

To explain what 7 meant when he said “he called it” if you go back to the day after pipe attempted to be rb’ed but immune by 12, 7 calls that 12 would not have been able to see that you couldn’t be immune so 7 was explaining why 12 was fake tav and for some reason dropped it towards the end. In 5:39 7 days “get 12” and then at 8:01 7 says that being high tolerance does not show up for tav hence why he kept pushing 12 and was the only one to guilty in the end. 7 was actually big brain but didn’t push hard enough LOLLL

I don't hate the idea of the BG not going on a claim night 1. They've only got one life, and there's little reason to burn it before at least trying to find a cleric, and before anybody's confirmed. Using the self-defense isn't a good move though.

tbh the problem with going on a tpow claim night 1 is, if there's a crusader going on them, well that's just death,its hard to choose between risking friendly fire on yourself or risking evils getting an ez kill

Thing is that sometimes Clerics don't roll and that BG is a very often fakeclaimed role so if you end up living for too long then people will just get suspicious of you. I just usually go on the TPLO claim n1 so if there's a LO on it that I get confirmed as a non-killer, tbh.

I had a fun vet game the other day. D2 I get pushed as sus by an exe claiming sheriff. I claim TS instead of TK in hopes of baiting in some evils, lucky me I didn't get voted up cause the votes were split. N2 I alert & kill a sheriff, spy, exe & dusa which hard confirmed me cause of spy/sheriff will & the living exe get's hung. N3 a necro uses a dead tav to rb me but nothing else happens. N4 the necro attempts to rb me again with a dead tav clearly unaware that a person can't be rbd twice in a row & their voodoo attempts to attack me & dies cause I'm on alert. D5 the necro asks why their voodoo is dead instead of me & the other person, who is a confirmed townie, replies telling them the same person can't be rb'd twice in a row. N5 goes by quietly, I choose not to alert. D6 starts & no one is dead. The necro didn't attack anyone N5 so the necro gets hung & town wins.

Man. Everyone really hating that bg. It only took one night. Geez. Maybe selfing was wrong. But not going on a TP claim N1 is not a bad call. D1 claims are baseless claims that you have to take at face value. Yeah while you can just die and get into another game, I’d rather sit through the game for a decent bit to see the end result, especially in all any. Why die a death you can avoid, especially if you are unsure of if it is a trap or not? Don’t get it. It’s a game of risk of chance, can’t say a guy sucks for taking a risk that could have been right. Anyone could’ve attacked him that night. Seems odd to me.
