Maybe, I hope Cars 4 will be all about Spy movie again like Cars 2. But don’t there is an another connection from Cars 1, 3, and even TV series like Cars on the Road, and Mater’s Tall Tales. But I think spy action themes makes the Cars 4 a perfect finale for the franchise like Fast and Furious 7. But I want Finn and Holley to return in the fourth movie and introduce the new spy recruits to defeat the worst enemies that return to destroy the universe along with new villains based on the scrapped villains from The Art from Cars 2: Zil and Giuala. But I want WGP racers like Francesco as main characters as background characters was a change for me and I want to be because they are important.

@@Daruma_12 But Cars 4 being Cars 2 spy action packed again feels too perfect for the fourth installment, making it more finale movie of the franchise. But McQueen is still protagonist in the fourth film along with Mater who is now deuteragonist and learns how dumb he was as spy in previous second movie which is a perfect character development for him, along with McQueen who learns how much jerky he was especially when he gets mad at Mater for losing the race that could lead himself suffer in danger even Francesco and WGP racers themselves. So that’s why I generally wished that Cars 4 will be like Cars 2 again but with connection of the intense racing of Cars 1 and Cars 3, and also history repeat itself moment especially McQueen training Storm after Cruz, etc. (Sorry if you don’t like my idea, then that’s your choice.)

The theory does not make sense because in the universe of cars, references are made to several historical events that happened but with vehicles and it would also not make sense that only cars from the years 1900-2020 exist. This contradicts the theory because there should be futuristic vehicles and not cars. classics

I honestly dont really have a pitch as I dont really think there needs to be another Cars movie (id honestly be fine with another Season or two of Cars on the Road instead) but i will say, i really like your pitch. Why? Because it actually takes risks. Its the same reason why Barbie and Wonka were some of my favorite movies of last year, or why Barb and Starr is one of my favorite comedy movies of recent memory, why I actually think the Last Jedi is the best of the sequel trilogy, why Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Big Lebowski, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are some of my favorite movies of all time, why i love Deadpool and Wolverine and Godzilla X Kong as much as i do, and also, why in my pitch for Frozen 3, i had the film be set on an island of Dinosaurs....okay, ill admit, it feels self-indulgent using that last example. But the point is, i prefer sequels and movies in general that ACTUALLY takes risks, because thats the point, id rather watch something that makes a huge swing and takes a huge risks, regardless if it pans out or not, over something that plays it way to safe and conventional for its own good, to the point where theres almost nothing new to offer, and it doesnt stand out at all in the slightest. So i appreciate yours did the same, I.E. took a swing by doing something different and off the wall Risky. Also, your pitch would basically make the Cars franchise movies (mainly Buzz Lightyear spin-offs) within the Toy Story universe, which is just find to be kindof extremely funny but also quite charming.
