That was my XUV 700 FWD,i didnt expect snow to be there which was my fault, since i didn't expect the snow so i didn't take my snow chain,my fault again but,you dont realise that it wld be dangerous till you are into it and tthen you dont have a choice.

You should always use power mode on mountains because engine in full potential run stress free. Eco or normal mode in mountains will stress your engine and decrease milage of your car

@@kunalchopra2648 normal is the standard and Power is juicing out more than standard from the car.. I live in the mountains and normal has been more than sufficient+better milega for me. I own a Hilux.. do you have a similar vehicle with respect to modes.

There is absolutely no need of power mode. These inclines are not too steep. Road grip is more important than raw power. It can actually create more problems. That us why most "proper" off roader have a 2nd start mode where vehicle starts on 2nd gear to avoid spins
