Damn I’m surprised that rubicon at 2:40 with k02 tires even had trouble. Guess no matter how good your tires are and how good of a off-roader you have there’s no defeating ice in the winter

No, the K02 is the completely wrong type of tire for this climate. For ice, you need a winter tire or all-weather tire. E.g., Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 or Nokian WR G4. An all-terrain tire will not have ice traction. To quote two reviews: (1) "Doesn’t work on ice . . . be careful of ice - the KO2 lacks enough traction there and might surprise you." --- TireDeets (2) "Not usable on icy roads - a proper winter tire will behave much better . . . , it doesn’t provide enough traction on icy surfaces, and it also won’t turn or stop properly. In these circumstances, I recommend going for a proper winter tire." --- Tireer

Winter tires dont really make sense here. Big bear is such a small area and get snow so infrequently, and gets plowed so often. Even if you lived there youd only be snow driving a few days a year and 99% of these people dont live here.

If y'all don't know how to drive in the snow by now Then stay home This really cracks me up and I used to live up there I was born and raised up there and I never but one time went spinning around right in front of the sheriff's department did I make it yes you guys are cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs don't know how to drive in the snow while in the heck are you out there that's pretty dang stupid if you ask me and if you're going to drive in the snow you take out a little bit of air out of your tire so you don't go sliding and sliding other vehicles lol lol this is so freaking funny 🤣🤣🤣 it's unreal

Alright so from what we've seen today, who has the best traction? 😂 I seen the Jeeps do the best, Toyota's next best! Of course, anyone with chains did much better. I'm assuming most people don't have snow tires either. Looks like I should be chaining front and back for my next trip!
