I learned to ride on a Trail 70. I had a gas on that thing! The family that owned it had ridden it until they lost interest. Their loss, my GAIN. I was on that bike for as long as the sun was up. I have no doubt that I would've hurt myself if it had a 190cc motor. When that Christmas rolled around, Dad got me a 100cc Hodaka Dirt Squirt. That was probably December of 1977. My riding buddy purchased it from me, and he still has it. I think I want it back now...

I lived in a small desert town. Mountains and trails sagebrush and cliffs. I could take my honda 70 along a cliffside trail, if the trail was a dead end because of a rock slide, id just carry the 70 over the rocks and keep going. If i came back the same way because no other way back, id just carry it across the rocks again. Its an amazing little mode of transportation. Also you can pop a wheelie for a city block by turning your feet out side ways and dragging them while on the throttle😎

I was revving it up in the garage to show him what I just bought, trying to be cool, and the clutch cable broke and hit the wall and cracked the stucco on the other side. and about 10 of my dad biker friends all laughed at me, and said, "Well, you crashed your bike, better to it now than out on the open road."....lol......
