So, to summarize: Use prices you find online as a rule of thumb as the MAXIMUM you should pay The more features, the more you should be prepared to pay The laws of supply and demand apply- if you’re in an area with a big mini bike following, but not many bikes for sale, be prepared to pay more. Same goes for vice versa. All in all, mini bikes are a niche product, in various shapes, makes, models, etc. For these reasons, it’s difficult to put a standard value on mini bikes and go karts. Basically, they’re worth whatever the prospective buyer is willing to pay. Can’t wait to restore this one!

If you like Fox minis, find a Trail Tramp - street legal and two-speed clutch system gave them about 45-50 mph top speed. I had one years ago, complete lighting - same frame & fenders as the Condor and a beautiful bike!

at almost 70 years old I did not have mini bikes and go carts in my area plus could have never afforded one. When my kids came along I was over protective to keep them from getting hurt. Now you guys have me looking everywhere for go carts and min bikes. I just found a slick 1970 go cart with a chrome engine and almost no usage at all. I plan to restore it and have it at the Charlotte flea market in sept. Still looking for a mini bike. Thanks for the fun I get watching you guys

A good amount of men who were kids back in the 70's are in nostalgia heaven right now. I'm waiting to see y'all rebuild a survivor mini bike from the mid 80's to the early 90's so I can get a little dose of nostalgia too. I never really had any mini bikes myself, I did have a good little go cart and a beater three wheeler though, they got me into riding four wheelers right about the same time the old go cart was borrowed without permission and the old 3 wheeler took her last ride. I have always loved anything with an engine and wheels, two or four,it don't matter,as long as I can mash the gas and steer it clear of the ditches then I'm with it.

I found something I don't thing you guys ever talked about. My predator 301 cc wasn't getting gas, so I cleaned the carb and still had the same problem (with choke stalls). I pulled the hose off the carb and saw that there was little to no gas coming out. So I cleaned tank, still same problem. There is a pet-cock on the tank, removed it and saw a 1/4" filter attached. It was clacked, so I cut it off opened the hole, and put it back together. worked great. added an in-line filter to replace it. Something you could show to your viewers in one of your builds. Keep up the great work.

Jamie...making an intake manifold for 1 of these is the most basic of jobs, I guess not if you're inexperienced but I get your drift: if you don't have a welder you can prefab it & take it to a general engineers to get welded up or they can make 1 for you or you can take it to your local mower/Small engine guy who should be able to help you out if you talk to him nicely , use a new (Malaysia) Honda S90 (made new there still) Carb 20mm I think , don't bother with the expense of a knock-off Mikuni, the 60's-70's Sports Commuter 90cc Carb it works perfectly on the 172cc B & S & Techumseh Engine's with no jetting changes needed & unreal idle & throttle response.Trev New Zealand home of the world's fastest old Indian & Indy/Daytona racer Chris Dickson.😎

That thing needs a torque converter on it, they're way better than a centrifugal clutch, less loss of power to the drive wheel, wider range of top end speed, and low end torque, also I would put coil over shocks on the rear, and you had a good idea putting a billet connecting rod, also a billet fly wheel, porting and polishing the intake port, new valves, springs and cam, that mikuni carburetor was an improvement for sure, ya it looks like you guy's are on the right track, can't wait to see it all done up in a future video, nice Job ! PS you could always put a Briggs & Stratton flat head Raptor 5hp racing engine on there too, those are a personal favorite of mine, I have one on my 1970 sears roper minibike, and the thing screams, it also has a Comet TAV2 torque converter on it !

Good ole reliable Tecumseh motor! I had a neighbor "throw away" a 3 wheel edger with the same engine. Of course I saved it with a knock off float carb from ebay for $10. It had the same diaphragm carb that was toast! Now it starts on 1st or 2nd pull. One mans trash is another mans treasure i guess.

Heck yeah! I have a Bird T-Bird I saved from a scrap yard. Nearly the same as the Condor, minus rear suspension. I put a Hemi Predator 212 on it, ported polished race head, billet rod, flywheel, Mod 2 cam, larger carb, header. Big word of advice if you hop up the engine. Go to a lot smaller rear sprocket, otherwise you won't be able to keep the front wheel on the ground.

Great video and vintage mini bike buy, where i grew up here in Canada The carbon copy to this one was Rupp and it was really popular and were everywhere and i know a friend who had one and the suspension made all the difference in the world, we were all 10/11 yrs old and always had to buy our own fuel and put our money together so never any problems, so many cool memories from early 70's, then came the Chaparral 100 cc 4 stroke 4 speed dirt bikes, cheap reliable easy to fix and a whole lotta fun 😎😎

Cool! I liked them old Fox mini bikes! My Dad bought us a Fox Scrambler back in 69-70?, and from Kmart too! It had a 4horse Tecumseh on it too and the first thing the old man did when he brought it home was disconnect the governor, and it had a smaller sprocket than that one too, so with my brother riding it, he was smaller than me, but it would hit around 30-35 mph. Wish I still had that thing today.....

I just traded some free car parts i had salvaged from car going to scrapper to kinda barn find scooter. 2010 Kymco super8 50cc T2, been sitting on apartment buildings inner yard for 3 years with out cover and it had been stolen year before that, rattle canned horrible looking. Same assholes had gone trough fearing with angle grinder trying to find frame ID. Same thing, got it running day one with changing the fuel and cleaning the plug and now i'm addressing those fairings. Plastic welded the damaged parts in a day. Meth head had not sanded the plastics so scraping with dull knife got most off, combining that to alcohol, water sanding and some paint restored the surfaces. Still have couple front peaces to restore and it should be done on that department. Still need to chance rollers, fix couple electric issues, find two missing fairings and its good as new. Pretty decent vehicle to get to jobsite near with chainsaw. I'm looking now to find barn find ATV to get deeper into forest and move more tools. Maybe i can do swap if i'm lucky.

Awesome find on that Fox Minibike. You got a Steal on it. Here is Michigan that would be $400 easy. I shook my head when you guys were commenting on how well it rides. You really need to ride a Rupp from that same era. A Srambler, Enduro, Roadster 2 etc all ride better. PLUS you can still buy New parts for Rupp's. You mentioned "she" when you talked about the seat. That has to be Karen. She doesn't Great work, I'm sure you will agree when you get it in a couple months. A few years ago all I did was buy, fix, restore and sell Minibikes. This video made my day. PS Please don't screw up that bike by changing the exhaust pipe. That is Classic ! Oh, when you check the oil in a tilted engine like that you have to put the front tire on a milk crate or something so the oil pan is level with the ground. Once level just put in enough oil to cover the threads of the screw plug.

Hello, I'm new to building karts and trikes. Been watching for awhile. You guys are awesome. One of the reasons I got into it. I'm not a KZbinr, but have a video I'm proud of. I would like to share. (Son and Father drifting) 4 mins long. Sorry to plug this in your comments.

In my area 150 for that is a steal. Thst bike looks mostly unmodified except the carb and is in great shape. I just picked up a 1971 speedway stinger for 125. Flat tires, rear tire rubs on the scrub brake, no suspension, forks have been broken and welded what looks to be 3 or more times, wrong engine, leaking oil, broken kickstand. And that was the best one for the money that i could find. Got it home and poured some gas in it and it fired right up after sitting for 5 years.

I saw a trick on another channel. He soaked the diaphragm in brake fluid overnight and it worked. It was a first for me. Also, you guys might want to try an ultrasonic cleaner from HF.

That's a loyal little bike there, teeming with character. Can't wait to see you guys breathe some new life into it; I'm sure it'll take to it well. Should really just bite the bullet and get rings for it while you're at it; I wouldn't be surprised if once there's a lot of heat in it if the gap started coming too far out of spec.

Also you can remove the rust on handle bars by balling up aluminium foil and dipping in water and scrubbing them down with the crunched up aluminium foil works great with some elbow grease and leaves no scratches in chrome
