Pro tip: it’s a lot less dangerous to weld near a topped up gas tank than near an empty one (presuming there has been gas in the tank before). If you need to weld the tank itself fill it up as much as possible with water to push any residual gas vapour out
@brucewayne93002 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can do that or do you have another engine sitting around on a go cart or a minibike or something you can take an exhaust hose metal and run it from the exhaust over into the fuel tank let it run for a few minutes and then weld on it while it’s sitting there running and putting the exhaust in the tank and then you can weld it up I watch the welder on a job site when I was a mechanic on heavy equipment he welded up a cracked fuel tank on a scraper with just the exhaust from my welder off of my truck blowing into the fuel tank with rag stuff around the hole craziest thing I’ve ever seen thing I ever seen in my life. The fuel it was coming out of the crack was catching on fire but that was it and never went no farther than that Anywhoo true story!

You guys should do a build-off. Each of you builds a cart to run the Grand Prix. The fastest person driving their own design wins. You guys should agree on an engine size, and you should get them to weigh roughly the same with driver. The driver decides what gear, how to build the engine, and chassis mods.

Guys -constructive criticism and project idea here you've made some damn good progress with your channel and quality of vid's and I understand you've got your sponser Go power sports which is awesome but everything has became a bit samey at least thats how it feels to me (i heard the harley build is coming which is awesome) It's like an overdoes of karts , minibikes and fitting with go power sports parts and a stange top - princess car - coffin etc I personally prefered your more technical building stuff like the BMW powered buggy - the honda motorcycle etc where your doing a bit more problem solving fabricating on the fly and where you do more interesting stuff that not just slap parts x on bike or kart x I have a crazy Idea which you may like or hate - take a AWD car with indepentant suppension and CV axles pull the motor gearbox and diff and drop in 4 small motors (keep your sponser happy) with torque converters and hook them to the cv axles via sprokets (getting a spline fit maybe hell so maybe just weld a tube over the spline and put 2 bearing blocks and a sproket on that) then send it or better still take it racing in autograss 4 times 225cc is 900cc which should be plenty of power to move a car as long as the torque convertors are geared right and handle the stress I know thats a hell of a project but maybe give you that creative spark? something to really sink your teeth into maybe turn it into a mini series also ALWAYS let charles channel his inner charles!

Is there any plan for Go Power Sports to manufacture a street legal conversion for these bikes? It seems like a logical next step, and a guaranteed big seller.
@jarekmace15362 жыл бұрын
I doubt these will ever be street legal as a kit. The engine is big enough to put them in the motorcycle class of vehicles, requiring insurance, registration, licensing, etc. Plus, as low as they sit, with as many oblivious idiots on the road as there are, would YOU want to be out there?
