It’s so weird seeing them doing the takes over and over, because in the actual program it’s so realistic and you actually believe a lot of it is improvised. Still one of my favourite shows of all time
@Gojira_uz5 жыл бұрын
Most of it is improvised, it's just that once they find the joke or line they keep going with it until they execute it perfectly.
@LokiLoverForever995 жыл бұрын
I think it's devised. They plan it all out. Then when it comes to the cameras being on them they 'improvise' their conversations based of what they planned.

@@Karocenas Makes sense. The productions company producing the grand tour is owned by Wilman and the trio, and is a direct successor of Wilmans former prodcution company which was producing Top Gear for about 10 years prior to their leave. Seems like they basically just rebranded it, founded a new company with all of them and took the staff with them. This would explain why so many are still there, why should they work for a different company when they already know everyone.

If ANYthing, the ‘Top Gear’ & ‘The Grand Tour’ film crews have provided us with some of the most exquisitely beautiful images I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. They really do seem to be in a league of their own without peers. Besides building many of the funniest images on TV (film as well for that matter) currently, it’s so easy to forget sometimes that they’re set shots. It nearly always feels spontaneous. That can’t be easy.

For everyone upset that Top Gear is gone. Don't be sad it's over, be happy you were there to see it happen. It was a privilege growing up watching the trio, some of the best tv ever. Thank you Clarkson, May, Hammond and the BBC crew for all the good memories.

If you ever want to feel small and insignificant among the awesome wonder of this planet we call home. Just watch the drone footage at the beginning of this. Absolutely stunning footage it's a shame that we only get to see it as part of deleted scenes. I could watch that all day.

11:27 Isn't that the guy from England vs Germany episode, where they had to race, where the bottom car has gas, and top car has only steering. So they had only 3 people and they took him to take part in the race?

What a beautiful country Burma is, the views are on par with Vietnam. Loved the drone shots, pity it wasn't included in the final show. My favorite is still the north pole special, esp the drink driving part.

The country of Myanmar (Burma) was one of my favourite SE Asia countries I visited. Beautiful landscape, culture and the friendliest people!
