No ESC is the deal breaker ..Rather leave off a few toys inside and fit ESC and that could save lives..Jacob you need ESC with all the time you spend taking your hands off the steering wheel while driving..First lesson of advanced motoring course..keep hands on wheel!!

ESC is very important.... it kicked in when a bakkie changed lanes suddenly without indicating... I had veered of the road onto the grass and the ESC really helped me gain control of the vehicle again 👌

That's the problem with tiny engines. Yes they are fuel efficient but as soon as you drop it in a big body they suffer. In the real world fuel consumption would be mid 6s . I had a 1.4 professional that averaged the same and it suffered on the open road. Can't imagine how this will handle the highways fully loaded.

I will give Hyundai this, it has the best looks in the segment its supposed to compete with(Ignis,Spresso, Kwid, Swift) and the headlights make you think youre getting something way more premium.

It's always a pleasure to have a new upcomer. But in this price bracket/segment competition is brutal. Needs better looks and an interesting interior. Eg. Look at what happened to the Kiger after the Starlet fronx

These cars are reviewed on many other channels so obviously theres another reason why this channel has 400k subscribers. If its diversification to attract a wider audience then sure, but I think the subscribers should get some kind of official video as to whats going on. So this is the wrong car if youre in this budget for a couple of reasons despite the fuel economy. First is that ESC is not standard but ABS and EBD are? Thats just mean, even the Spresso which is the least expensive new car in the market has it from the base model. Second is that length wise that boot is not the best in class. Those cooler boxes didnt have anyroom lenghth wise in the boot, the Fronx has more. Finally the Price, if this thing is priced so high it starts getting into premium hatchback money then just buy a Fronx, you get esc and cruise control as standard.

The fact that this has a lethargic NA engine at this price immediately gives the win to the Mahindra 3X0 not to mention the fact that the Mahindra is safer with more standard safety features. Also, Hyundais feel very cheap inside and out. This is not worth it. If someone buys this over the Mahindra then I don't know....

6.7 L/100Km? I am sorry but this further increases my questions on SUV's, they overpriced and they suck at fuel consumption. At this price point you are batter of with a Suzuki Baleno which has none of the drawbacks of the exter and has the exact fuel consumption

I don't know in what South Africa presenters live in but here in the actual "Uit die blou van ons se hemel" people are using their cars for everything these days. From the daily run arounds, to the 1000+ km journey for the family vacation. Point is, this small engine jana-jana is a load of k@k. Sure you will save fuel driving alone but load those things full of people + luggage or even hook a fully loaded trailor and see how near impossible it is to overtake without making that engine scream for dear life. Oh and side note, that thing is ugly AF.
