Well done mate, what a nightmare of a job to sort the airbags out but you handled it well. Got to say what a terrible place to put the pollen filter, dashboard out just to change it. The car makers deliberately make it impossible to get to, its ridiculous, could have easily made it in a way to be accessed under the dash. Can't imagine the labour cost of taking the dashboard out at a dealer, pure greed mate.

You can begin to see why so many cars get totaled when the airbags go off - think new bags from a dealer are expensive and then all the labour to get them changed must add up to a few k. You have a lot of patience and perseverence to stick with this.

Paul could I please have your views on retrofitting navigation in Audi TT Mk 3. I contacted Audi, and they charge in the regions of £1200 😩 . I’m not very technical in these matters I've learned that there are companies out there that will install the TT navigation for £200 it seems crazy when you think what Audi charge. Every TT has navigation already in the car; it’s just a case of the navigation being activated. I was all so told in passing Audi charge so much as monies are paid for licensing. I would like to have navigation in my TT but all so a little nervous I could bugger the car up to being the dash pod. I thought the navigation was in the glove box being the cd and sd cards as I said I’m not very technical. Do you think I would be safe to have a company do a retrofit of navigation I spoke to a guy at a company called Vw retrofits in redititch who charge £150 and £50 extra if you want Apple car play sadly my car is 65 plate and Apple car play is not supported in the model year. Sorry about the long question ps m8 I think you're a genius the way you dismantle the cars, especially the audis. I just wish I had %20 of your knowledge have a good day Paul Brian
