This isn’t the cheapest in the country I bought an Audi TT s line 2l tfsi Quattro 230bhp with 27k mileage automatic but a 2016 year with a higher spec for 6,200 from copart this year

When he says the cheapest in the country I don't believe he's talking about a 2016 plate. I believe he's talking about a TT that's a 2018 plate in the same condition as his. You could rightly say you bought the cheapest Audi TT in the country and you'd be correct in your statement as long as you were referring to a 2016 plate in the same condition as yours. Ideal time also Paul to retro fit bits and pieces. Folding mirrors, rear view camera, leather interior if it's a keeper etc. Wouldn't bother with Sat Nav, it's nice having it but useless, I always use Waze. Good luck with it, looking forward to more episodes.

@@CarsForPaul ok, so you have to know what you're doing like you with repairing, as you could end up out of pocket come sale time. Also, do you not find a CAT car takes longer to sell? I must admit I've always skipped past the CAT cars when looking for a car to buy for myself........until my recent purchase in Sept. A rare special car that I managed to get into for 10-15k cheaper because of it's CAT title. I'm happy so far.

Usually 20-25% less than retail for cat N and 30-35% for cat S is usually bang on right. Usually less for RS and S cars though as they are more desirable.

The tyres on your car are original OEM. I have same tyres on my TT I was a bit disappointed when I collected my car from new as thought Audi had short-changed me with inferior tyres but how wrong I've been and have covered 20000 miles still lots of treads left. My friend took delivery of a new Porsche, and his car has Hankook tyres Have had 7 TT ’S over the years, and the Hankook tyre are by far the best so don't give them away cheap there excellent tyres it's a shame had they been 19 inches I would have bought them off you. I am looking forward to your rebuild.
