It's annoying that it's an "American" team, but now that Dmitry Mazepin made Urakali the title sponsor of the team, it has basically been adopted by the Russians as their team. I assume Gene Haas will pull out soon, and Mazepin will become the team's new owner, more or less.

They usually just repair the damage done to the car. It’s a lot cheaper to fix for example a ruined suspension and engine cover than making a whole new car.

When F1 was truly F1. Back when engines were on the ragged edge revving out to 19k RPM. Back when engineers would pray that the engine would survive another lap. The V8 engine in the M3 and V10 engine in the M5 were loosely based on this BMW F1 engine! I believe they were also produced in the same foundry as the F1 engine.

A F1 car is made in the exactly same way today. The only thing that changed is that some of the CAM, CAD and IEA tools have a higher capacity. But the manufacturing process itself is totally the same.

I was fan of this team because its brought along my country infamous PETRONAS brand, thats why we concern much. You dont have to trust me, just google yourself, " 2008 / 2009 F1 politics" and so on. I was horrified and amazed to see them using compressed air to remove debris. I've worked in state of the art tool shops in Europe and that is never, never permitted. Negative air ( vacuum) is the only way you can control the evacuation of debris.

9:50 looks like a pretty dated video, but the sound of this engine is just stunning. Still V8, but on the dyno it sounds just great. I can imagine they simulate it with a Monza cycle because it is the circuit requesting the maximum from the engine. Makes me think back to the old V10 and V12 days..The old V10 sounds are just sooooooo stunning, Wish even the V12’s (last team to still drive with it) came back. The F1 sounds in the earlier days was just better than music in my opinion.
