Someone has to explain me how a GM push rods engine compite against Nissan's twin cam engines? How is this possible?

they don't make the engines as fast as possible if they did we'd have formula 1 engines, the supercars have flow numbers for the cylinder heads, are limited to 10.0-1 compression, a fixed rpm limit, and max lift for the cam profiles. the twin-cam adds no extra level of tuneability. they actually struggled to make the same power with the nissan v8 and got special decompensation to use better fuel for the first year while they improved the design to match the ford and chevs.

David Parr. That was a silly video. Behind the scenes with virtually nothing seen because the camera was thrown around all over the place and showing nothing. Ratbag commentary trying to be entertaining but failing. Kelly's efforts on the Mustang left this effort for dead.

2019 they have inferior cars, inferior engineers and drivers who are struggling. It's the best thing and it serves them right

"Serves them right"? Why? For being a good, well run, dominant team? It's a mix of a Mustang which bends a lot of rules and has aero advantages and the move to a single linear spring, which the Holden's are trying to get a hold on. They were the masters of the twin spring setup, which is why they won so damn much.

@@NicholasCox85 you cry now after T888 have had a clear advantage for soo long? 😂 888 clearly outgunned in 2019, they could have made a better car too but chose to think they ruled the roost 😂 RD and V8SC both stated the Mustang was built well within the rule books, plus they both approved it's 1st guise... They could have improved the Opel as well but chose to be lazy and arrogant thinking they're untouchable
