No need to change it on petrol cars. Some petrol cars even don't have it.

no need to change it, I use the same for 8 years , but this is steel nut washer. If you have copper one like on Audi, you better check is still ok or replace.

How much oil does go in that engine? 3L 3.3L?

Same engine, same car basically just Monte Carlo edition. I used exactly 4L. The easiest way to see is to drain, then measure the amount you drained, refill some 80% of what you drained, then start checking the dipstick. Then keep adding a little more until you are satisfied with the end result. Remember, you don't wanna overfill. That being said, overfilling "by a tiny bit" is OK. Not the end of the world, but rather a little below max than a little above max.
