I very much enjoyed learning about the tool-kit aspect. It reminds me of how with my own hobby (Lego) trying to find a specific mini-figure can be and often is more expensive than getting an entire new Lego set (not to mention more difficult to find). I do have a question. Have you ever come across a feature in a car that just made you say "what were these people thinking?"

During filming, there's a lot of "Oh, what in the world is this thing for?!" (kinda like the mystery switch in the Mercedes) but what's fun is that there's always an answer - it might be a head scratcher of an answer but someone thought enough to actually do it! But next time we do Carside Questions I'll be sure to ask Alex and Amy this question :)

@@Everyday2Exotic There is always an answer, and Alex usually knows it. :) And the point about writing some guy in Italy for some random part, love it!

Another future carside question I would ask is about how a car's lineage plays into the Haugland's purchasing a certain car when there can be thousands of a car or just a very few of that car, or even a 1 of 1. And I love that lineage of a car plays into the collection score on some cars. This Packard has an interesting story: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYm9dayJrKyZl7M can't wait to hear more background on future Haugland car episodes.

Sorry everyone for the repost, but KZbin did something weird with the audio the first time around, hence the reset!

First question I have? How do you store so many cars? One building? Build as you need? Care to share?

Alex just replied to a question about this today! There are multiple garages around town that the cars are stored in. However, Alex and Amy do cycle through the cars on a regular basis, driving each car and making sure they all get some use.
