I bought a car from them. During collection, sales person told me the service book is "lost". They will get it and give me "shortly". After a week, i was informed that they can't locate the book. Then, they block me from Facebook... Perfect customer service. Very bad customer service experience.

i believe they did mention on their website as well if the car you're viewing still has the service book. Based on my observation browsing the sites, the majority of their used car doesn't have the service book together anymore. If you were told that the car you bought had it before but suddenly lost it during collection, then that's an absolute bummer.

Sure it is nice to have certified lab etc but what happened to Carsome in Kelana Jaya? They're using public parking to store their cars. Not my problem and I couldn't care less about using public parking but the way they operate is poor and it's making people living around Kelana Square angry and miserable. Every day, maybe more than 10 times, the car carrier lorries come in and out to Kelana Square and this area have a very tight road/turn. I've seen many time this car carrier lorries make dangerous turn, damage the landscape at the traffic light near Zenith Corporate Park/Paradigm Mall and most of the time cause traffic congestion. Please be responsible.

It is strange that with all the inspection, they missed the fact they sold a stolen vehicle. As a potential buyer, getting a car from Carsome should give some peace of mind for the slight premium.

Not sure carsome is as great as advertised. Recently been to their Melaka branch trying to sell my car and was surprised as none of the steps are carried out as per advertised. In the of the inspection, no offer was provided and no further answer from the branch. (this is where it felt weird). After a few calls to the customer reps - then the major and shocking surprise came - the carsome service rep informed me that my car was declare as "total loss". (which in fact is not as I have evaluation from another platform). I understand as a business, carsome have the rights to refuse to offer or buy any car they don't want, but mislabeling and accused customer as "total loss" without any reason is definitely not acceptable.

That's a one off case no? Also after some reading up I found this; "Carsome, in its defence, is relying on Puspakom’s report which said that the chassis was not tampered with and everything was in order before it was sold to the plaintiff."

@@aimanfitri0iv you mean the puspakom inspection? Puspakom checks for non factory welding on the chassis and checks if the chassis number has been tampered when dealing with name change. It seems the police did a more thorough chassis ID inspection by cross referencing every part of the car based on the text below. From my knowledge puspakom only references firewall id and engine id in registration. "Two days later, police seized the car for Chemistry Department tests on the chassis, and it was later confirmed that it had been tampered with."
