I love the squeaks of the fingers going up and down the strings. Not sure why, but I always think it adds another layer to acoustic performances. With that said, this is pure gold, guys. This song is hauntingly beautiful. Definitely on a short list of the most perfect songs. You guys absolutely nailed it. Such a great cover.

I've watched the other versions in the comments below numerous times (and of course the original a gazillion times). And I've watched this one at least 40 times. So pure, and Carson's voice. dang. Another fave is their Harmony Hall with Josh on vocals. These guys are amazing. (josh came to town last year and I called months in advance and he was sold out.)

Wish I knew how we’ve gone from mixing studios the size of the Houston Mission Control to two dudes and one mic holed up in the guest bedroom, and still get audio as clean, as bright and as warm as this.
