It's a pregnant rollerskate. I have a 2014 Mazda 2 that is MINT. It's jittery and starts bumming out at 85 mph. I installed a Magnaflow exhaust. Sounds great now and the gas mileage is excellent. This is the car VW should have copied when they introduced the Beetle but should have had a rear-engine Subaru boxer engine and water-cooled.

Sucks that the USA doesn't get the cool little subcompacts like a lot of other global regions do. :(

I had a look at one today for my wife. The iDrive like knob and display is like kinda like stolen from BMW technology but even this 2022 cars 'iDrive' is clunky and slow compared to my 530i BM which which is over 10 years old. The engine is also weak. No grunt at all for a 1500, it needs a turbo The steering and handling are good otherwise as is the body style. Not a bad car.

This seems like it has a lot of parts from the third gen mazda 3. My dad has the same heads-up display on his 2015 6. What a weird Frankenstein's monster between Mazda and Toyota. It's cool if it keeps costs down though.
@releM152 жыл бұрын
Because the Mazda 2 is still a 6th Gen model and your dads Mazda 3 is not 3rd Gen but 6th Gen unless you live in North America then it is 3rd Gen

I have a 90 hp petrol Mazda 2 from 2015 with automatic transmission. I drive with the purpose of achieving a high gas mileage and I get much better results than the guy in this video So the guy in this video must have a somewhat heavier speeder-foot than me and you hear it at 5:42... I don't to that... Road trip mileage: I achieve 4,9L/100km = 21,3 km/L when driving 110 km/t on the highway with autopilot, summer tires, warm weather, flat terrain, no wind and no rain (a 2 x 330 km trip back and forth). I have achieved this on two seperate (yet identical) road trips with more or less constant speed of 110 km/t the entire distance. I haven't tried a long winther road trip with winter tires/rims yet. Commuter mileage: In summer commuter-city/queing-highway trafic I achieve 5.8L/100km= 17,2km/l with summer tires/15" alu rims, warm weather flat terrain, and no rain. In winter commuter-city/queing-highway trafic I achieve 6.2L/100km= 16,1km/l with winter tires/15" steel rims, cold weather, flat terrain, wind and rain/sleet. I try to use the autopilot as much as possible, but there really is a lot of queing to be aware of on my commute. Sum-up: The driving style/traffic conditions really has a surprising influence on gas mileage. So much so, that I have followed up on it the last 8 times I refueled the car. I would expect the mileage to hover around 4.2 - 4.4 L/100km = 22,7 -23,8 km/l at a constant speed of 80 km/hour. However, this is currently untested.

It is fuel efficient in the city, not so much on highways.

Japanese absurdity, the car looks modern and inside it is a 2015 model. It loses to all cars in this segment in terms of equipment. No armrest, no electric handbrake. Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping. These are 4 reasons why I won't buy it.

Curious to know what you bought instead?

Sans the immensely annoying, distracting bang‐crash‐wallop music I would not have baled this presentation a few seconds into its start as I did in this instance. It's inclusion is excess baggage. As for this stunning‐looking car, it's very seductive indeed but I've nontheless rejected it, for two reasons: firstly, I can't forgive Mazda and Toyota for not including a built‐in satnav (even on the top spec versions) because I can't be doing fiddling about with a cable to achieve connectivity. Secondly, too many commentators complain about excessive wind noise and tyre roar at motorway speeds. These twin deficiences mean that both manufacturers fail to prise the wonga from my wallet.
