100% agree! For some Reason Carspotting is less popular in the USA than here in Europe, where to be fair that Trend originated from. I regularly watch hour long European Carspotting Videos since like 2010 from any Country, you see some of the most rare Stuff in those. I guess maybe in the USA it's less of a huge Thing because most People in the USA who own really rare and exciting Cars rarely drive them, and if they do, it's always in one big US City and only in the Luxury Shopping Area. While in European Countries you get to see a muddy Gemballa Mirage in like 20 different European Cities because over here even rich Collectors seem to drive their Cars all over the Place and regularly instead of treating them like an Investment

His car magazine collection goes all the way back to the late-50’s and he has almost every issue of Car and Driver and Automobile. I literally learned how to read reading Car and Driver and could probably give you the performance specs on every car from the 90’s and early 00’s - from the mundane econoboxes to all of the exotics. Can probably identify the make and model of everything from those years just by the wheels or taillights. Car guys are the best!

6:30 The Mercedes B-Class was a very interesting vehicle. My family leased one back in 2015 in Missouri, and while it was mentioned here in the video it was a compliance car for California, I remember it had so many problems while we owned it. It used early Tesla batteries and something about it made it have constant electrical and motor problems (which included the wole drivetrain needing to be replaced). It spent so much time in the dealership repair shop we filed a complaint under the lemon law to pay for it to be repaired. While it was in the shop, we did however get some very nice S-classes to drive around as loaner vehicles, I won’t forget that. 😂
