Discount Tire Forged Wheel & Tire Installation - Titan7 T-S5 Wheels & Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tires

In this video I show the entire tire installation on the Titan7 T-S5 Forged Wheels at my local Discount Tire store. The entire install took about 90 minutes.
The stock STI wheels and tires are about 55 pounds each. The new Titan7 wheels and tires will be about 45 pounds each. This is a big weight savings for each wheel!
I bought Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires 265x35 from DiscountTire.com and had them installed at my local Discount Tire store. This tire size was suggested to me by Titan7.

Already contacted a local Subaru shop and they said lowering springs could ruin the tires I have so we are going with coil overs! Going to be awesome!

I'm talking with my local shop and they suggested Fortune too. They don't recommend using lowering springs with the tires I bought, they said I could ruin them. Looks like I'm going Fortune Auto 500 Gen 7!

What tpms sensors did you end up getting? Also which lug nuts did you get! I’m going to do the same to my wrx!

I had the stock TPMS sensors moved to my new wheels. I added a link to the lug nuts I used in the video description.

From experience Eibach lower springs is the best brand in the game, but with lowering spring you suffer on ride quality. if you want ride quality and lowering, go with coilers.

In the two videos I posted after this one, I show the Fortune Auto 500 coil-overs that were installed. I can't believe how much they changed the feel of an already amazing car. They give a perfect balance of comfort and firmness and the car always stays level in hard turns. I don't want to stop driving it now.

That just bites man!!! Pretty much ALL CARS pretty much forever has TPMS These days!!! What are they thinking 🙄 nevertheless the set up looks really good 👍 I should look into a sti 🤔

Yes not being able to use the nice polished black valve stems from Titan7 was a bummer but not a big deal. (They should have told me about that though.) I am now shopping for lowering springs. STI is a great daily driver except for the 20MPH I get around the city!

Did u have to replace the wheel studs for the extended versions to fit your new wheels?

No , the wheels are made with the correct offset to fit the STI brake calipers and all. If you look at one of my other videos where the alignment is done you can see the tires come out to the fenders perfectly.

It's just past 12000 miles now. I have another video explaining the cost for everything I did to the car so check that out too. The new wheels and suspension setup has made a HUGE difference in driving enjoyment. Really expensive but really worth it!

Any problems with the tpms when you switched from 19 inch to 18 inches?

No because I kept the original tpms from each wheel.

+Vince Haylem Yes, hub rings and you will need 60 degree ball seat lug nuts.

​@@Apes_love_BMX The guys at RevWorks were able to adjust for the wheel gap you see without rubbing so there was no need to roll the fenders. They did a great job. Car feels absolutely amazing now.

@@Apes_love_BMX I upgraded to Fortune Auto 500 coilover suspension and there was a camber adjustment needed in the front. They very careful at the install. I went back for a tire rotation just last month and of course they have all new staff. One of the newbs knocked my Titan7 center cap out and let it hit the floor which did scratch it. That really pissed me off and I told him to be careful with aftermarket wheels.The owners care about them.

@@CarStory I'm considering mounting and balancing my own. I have a no mar machine for motorcycle tires. Purchased some $400 rims and scared to take them anywhere. I have a local family owned shop that does all the custom truck rims i might try. surely they are careful.
