There is always someone with a more special, faster, more expensive car, so it's important to compare yourself not to others but to yourself a few years ago. It's incredible how you went from an A1 and even a Cayman 981 to a freaking 992 GT3...massive congratulations and I wish you many happy kilometeres

I've been on a waiting list since mid-2020 for an allocation and I'm not a new Porsche owner. I've owned half a dozen Porsches in the last 8 years. Nothing easy about getting one at all regardless of how KZbin videos may make it seem so.

Having someone drive 18 hours to see me would also mean the world. Sometimes family members don't go an hour to see someone, so it's impactful to know that a stranger would do it. The gt3 is also one of my greatest dreams to have. Just like you, for me it's also more the just a car. It's a trophy and symbol that you are capable of achieving something and making a purpose out of yourself. Hopefully, I can do the impossible once I graduate. Luke enjoyed listening to your story. In a lot of ways it mirrors mine. Car guy who moved from home with not a lot of money, with a lot of hard work (and some luck) is able to purchase a car that suits your life style. On 10-24 I took delivery (at the BMW performance center) a 23 X3 M40i. Having just retired (only 51), it was a gift to myself. We have a lil one so I need the space.
