But the "Porsche" on the back of the rear wing should be in silver if it's the only sticker you keep on the car. When Mat had the incorrect silver sticker installed initially, it looked really sharp paired with the GT silver paint of the car's body. That said, I do think the new OEM gold stickers are a massive improvement over the temporary stickers.

It's not that bad considering the price of the car. I've had similar quotes on an S5. You just have to be able to argue, negotiate etc. - these are numbers they aren't happy about either.

THEY HAVE PUT THE WRONG OIL IN MAT - had mine done and the new upgraded oil is c40-GT spec with in an orange/red label and top. The green is the regular stuff used for non GT cars which was recalled. Hope Reading will sort this out asap for you, as that’s a very public own-goal on KZbin - hope you’re enjoying yours, they’re amazing cars!

It's not a recall. The recall is for the sticker. But yes. They've changed the sticker to state it needs C40 GT but then added old spec ESP oil.

I know it can seem annoying when you have to bring in the car for warranty issues, but you have to admit Porsche doesn’t mess around and gets on top of things. Porsche is great this way, it doesn’t happen often but when it does they are top notch in wanting the car just right and the customer happy.

They asked 250€ for an oil change in my 1.5 Vw Troc (around 4 litres of oil) so 450£ for 7 litres and a metal filter on a gt3rs is actually a good price..

Sadly for you, Mat, the ESP X3 oil you put in the engine doesn't have the Porsche C40 GT specification. There's another Mobil 1 oil with a red sticker with C40 GT written on it.

I think the silver Porsche logo on the wing looks good to match closer to the car’s colour, but all other GT3 RS decals should be the updated goldy bronze new stickers. I think it is subtle detail and the matte PPF was the right decision. Porsche stickers are classy with or without them on, but think stickers on is the way I would order it for a bit of race car feel.

I completely share your pain. I may try fully synthetic 0W40 oil in my rear-wheel drive, rear/mid-engined lightweight car as my Smart Fortwo is due for a service. In terms of the stickers or decals, I decided against them as I’m not five.

Hmmm tough one. The new gold to match the wheels makes sense, but I also like the silvery gold that was put on the rear spoiler. It's similar to the Cerium grey wheels and body parts on my M135i. I think overall go for the full sticker set in the wheel colour. Got to 21mins and can see the full set, very nice.

The silver 'PORSCHE' on the rear spoiler looks AMAZING!!! Leave it as silver and then take all the other stickers off. With the greatest respect Mr. Watson, you said it yourself at 13.05s!!! 'This car doesn't actually need decals, because you know exactly what it is because of all the air vents!!!' And again at 13:14s '.....and just leave one sticker set on, the 'PORSCHE' on the rear wing. Because I absolutely adore that.' Your words, not mine Mr. Watson. Also, the gold stickers across the door(s) between the two wheel arches take away the natural impact of the gold wheels. The wheels alone should be the eye catchers, not the stickers. Especially, take those stickers off.

Lastly, have a look a Dundon titanium exhaust for your GT3 RS. Its around 10k but sounds amazing. Its valved too meaning you can reuse the solenoids on your OE system on the Dundon. 👍

If you put one on top of the other, you cant even see it properly. If the car is moving all you see is some gold-ish blur on the side of the car. And because the car has so many black (carbon) pieces. Black stickers matches the car way better.
