@CarsWithSteve - I am getting an XLT in velocity blue, sandstone interior, chrome package, 2WD with locking rear diff, XLT high package, Advanced Tow Package with Technology package, spray-in bed liner, side steps, and splash guards. I don't need 4WD and prefer the cloth seats.

Great video. How do you customize the split screens for the car play. I see you have maps, search, now playing and calendar events. Mine only shows maps on the top with two smaller screens on the bottom. Left one looks like weather and yhe right on KZbin music. Thanks wayne

Thanks! The screens that are there are all based on what's active on your phone. If you have a calendar event that day then it'll show, otherwise calendar would be hidden. If you have a podcast playing that will show, otherwise it'll be your last played media. The map shown will be the last map application that was opened!

Is there a way to change the bottom part of the screen? For instance if I want the navigation on top and the radio on the bottom?

Unfortunately not, it's locked into place. I haven't come across many screens that have much customization availability but I think it's a great idea to widgetize it

It's all about the max speed of the fan. Low, Med or High so you can have the blower go at different levels based on your preference

It's not available in the XL, it's optional in the XLT with either the Advanced Towing Pack Plus or Technology Pack but it's standard in the Lariat

How can I change the apple carplay dimensions?I now in the past I could get bigger and smaller the carplay, now I didn’t find that icon and mine is smaller then this in your video

The CarPlay setup that's shown in this video is the default size. Some Ford vehicles have the option to maximize the screen size but the new Ranger doesn't... Haven't run into problems before but I haven't had a Ranger long term to see if issues pop up. What iphone are you using?

Way too much technology for me! Just give me some manual knobs!! Too many complicated choices. The center tablet looks like an afterthought hung on the car. I am an old fart. We don't drive cars anymore, we drive computers with wheels! I have enough PC's, tablets, laptops, etc...at home!! Don't need or want all this techno crap in my truck!!

You've at least got the climate buttons and volume rocker just under the screen.. The tech here is a bit but at least there are more traditional controls compared to Tesla
