Great video and very informative, I also would like to see an adaptive cruise control video where you test the rangers/Everest's stop/go function in Melbourne peak hour traffic and how it all combines with the speed limit assist/lane keep assist ect all at once.

+Chris S That’s a good suggestion. I’ll get onto that

Hey Webby, I have a cloud symbol under the speed limit indicator on the dash do you know what it means, thanks Cheers John

I love this feature, because the engine is so powerful and quiet it’s hard to know what speed I’m going so it saves me from getting tickets on speed camera infested cities/roads.
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@Paradoxical124 it could certainly help prevent you getting any fines

Good info thanks. Can you explain what happens if you purposely excelerate over the speed limit. Wil the steering shudder?
@WebbyOnCars Жыл бұрын
@andreduplessis1954 The system will allow you to override the limiter without any restrictions

This is great tech, being incorporated in many new vehicles now.... makes my old lazy cruise control look basic......🤔

Wondering how it works on school zone 40km limit where time conditions mentioned in small letters.

Sorry but the only speed limiter I need is my right foot, just more tech to make you complacent on the road, don't get me wrong I just bought a 22, 2.0ltr single turbo wildtrack highrider, I am more than happy with the base model, I think it is your entry wildtrack, the car was close enough to new, still factory covers on seats, protective tapes still in place on the sills etc, 77 kms and not so much higher tech, I like it that way, other thing I really like was buying it in Thailand, b739,000, $32,800

I agree, I'm not a fan of some of the safety systems on cars these days, as they can often cause people to become lazy.

Hi Webby, my next gen Wildtrak seems to pick up 100 speed zones in areas that clearly are not 100 zones. Is there a fix for this?
@WebbyOnCars Жыл бұрын
@DomenicBelmonte-zt5ej Sometimes it uses map data to determine the speed limit and not cameras. I'm not sure what the fix is for this though

G'day, I have set my tolerance to 1 but my speed changes to 10kph over the speed limit every time. Is there a setting somewhere else that I need to change? Regards Al
@WebbyOnCars10 ай бұрын
@allanatlee8583 I've not come across that issue. Maybe try turning it off then restarting it to see if it fixes it.

What happens when you go past a bus at 110kmh that has a 40 sign on the back, and you have a truck up your arse?

Hyundai system better you have to press the ok button when it wants to change sometimes it picks up speed signs which are incorrect
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@elmin2323 none of these systems are perfect but thanks to over the air updates they can be fine tuned
@plumberbazz12 жыл бұрын
Don't trust it, it does not recognise speed signs quick enough when slowing, I got caught by radar in 100k zone entering an 80k zone, $600 fine, not happy, over ride the smarts with braking or look out.
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@plumberbazz1 any safety system on a car Is designed to help the driver, but ultimate responsibility lies with the driver, which is why manufacturers always put a disclaimer in the owners manual
@christhomas42602 жыл бұрын
Useless really. Way too slow to respond.
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@christhomas4260 If it was too sensitive you’d probably get annoyed that it was slowing down or speeding up too quickly though
