Another good video and and good tips. What was I saying about being aggressive and giving it a go and potentially shooting 65. I played my course billingham today texas scramble with my friend who's a 15 handicapper and I'm a 11. We came off after our roud just playing nothing but the most aggressive shots we could and finished on minus 1. If we can break par 2 mid handicappers you can do it any day of the week. Would be a great video just everything being the most aggressive shot you can think off maybe do it a scramble with either fryer finch or another pro as a pair you might shoot a 60 taking driver every hole and attacking the hope on every approach shot 😉

I took my driver out 4 rounds ago. Handicap dropped from 18.5 to 16.5. Against my playing partners, I'm not far behind off the tee with my 2 and 3 irons. Thinking of a 1 iron. What do you think 🤔🤔

I'm from the U.S and I'm curious what makes a course like this top 100 in UK. From my naive eye, it looks like a ton of dead fairways and nothing special. My bucket list is to play overseas but I'm merely curious. I'm used to pretty green courses in the U.S.
@Ballroot842 жыл бұрын
It's because there has been no rain and v warm weather for a long time. Which is unusual. Links courses tend to be high up the rankings because they are older and more prestigious. They are also alot harder. So, imo, if you play well you get more of a buzz. If you ever get the chance, definitely play some. West coast of England have a few great ones...Scotland obviously...but Northern Ireland is a very good suggestion aswell. Played there myself. For such a small country, it has some of the top courses in the world. Like Royal County Down or Portrush

Andy you have more talent than most of us. But you CLEARLY spend zero time looking at your put. It looks like you have a good look at your tee and iron shots. Then you RUSH the put. I think if you spend a few more seconds looking at it you'll get that extra two birds. Just my wanker golfer advice.
