In this video of our project MOMENT, we discover the destruction of Carthage in 146 BC by the Roman Republic. It marks one of the most devastating moments in ancient history.
After a three-year siege by Roman legions in the Third Punic War, the defenders of Carthage, the capital of the Carthaginian Empire, were on the verge of capitulation.
This film provides an immersive ambient experience that acoustically and visually transports the viewer into the dramatic events that led to the fall of the once mighty Punic metropolis and its defeat against the Roman Empire.
Ambient sounds and atmospheric images give you the feeling of actually floating above Carthage. Dive into the times of the Roman Republic and experience history up close.
These recordings offer a unique ambient experience, perfect for meditatively transporting yourself back to the past. Let yourself be enveloped by the sounds and images of ancient worlds. Ideal for ASMR lovers and history enthusiasts seeking an immersive escape into bygone eras.
Project MOMENT
A dedicated channel for the Project MOMENT has recently been launched and will, from now on, be regularly updated with new recordings from various epochs of world history.

"Scipio, when he looked upon the city as it was utterly perishing and in the last throes of its complete destruction, is said to have shed tears and wept openly for his enemies. After being wrapped in thought for long, and realizing that all cities, nations, and authorities must, like men, meet their doom; that this happened to Ilium, once a prosperous city, to the empires of Assyria, Media, and Persia, the greatest of their time, and to Macedonia itself, the brilliance of which was so recent, either deliberately or the verses escaping him, he said: A day will come when sacred Troy shall perish, And Priam and his people shall be slain. And when Polybius speaking with freedom to him, for he was his teacher, asked him what he meant by the words, they say that without any attempt at concealment he named his own country, for which he feared when he reflected on the fate of all things human." Cato would have been outraged 😉, he was a farmer from Tusculum, south-east of Rome. He didn't have too far to travel to Rome

Lmao… stop with your propaganda. US cities are not the warzones that the religious right wants you to think they are. Educate yourself and get out more.
