It is a crime of bad taste to use Puccini's "Nessun Dorma" for this architectural walk through of the Colosseum. Reasons 1. The aria is world famous for a reason. It is wonderful. This mediocre little video does in no way stack up to it. 2. The Colosseum was a blood-drenched circus of death, violence, and sensationalist spectacles often culminating in the destruction of life. Puccini's aria celebrates love and the overcoming of a cold heart.
